
On 17 December 2009 the following grant was approved by the Executive Spokesman for Service Performance and Improvement, Conservative Councillor Trevor Cartwright.
The Sarisbury Residents' Association submitted a bid application for two tulip trees to be planted on Little Green in Sarisbury Green to commemorate the old horse-chestnut tree. Executive Spokesman for Service Performance and Improvement, Councillor Cartwright said: "The granting of this CAT's application is important as it will assist with the planting of two tulip trees which will help contribute toward the visual amenities of the local area and commemorate the old horse-chestnut tree".
