Personal Information:

I am married with a grown-up family and have lived in Warsash for twenty years. I was employed as Human Resources Director with a large local company and was awarded the MBE for services to the Defence Industry in 1996. In retirement I am involved in HR consultancy. My main aim as a Councillor is to serve the people of Warsash who elected me and to ensure that they are getting value for money from the services supplied by the Council. I am particularly interested in keeping tight control on housing development in Warsash within the confines of the Planning Policy. Also, as Chairman of the Community Safety Partnership, I am working with the police to combat vandalism and anti-social behaviour. I am a keen yachtsman and enjoy cycling and bird watching with a great interest in conservation, especially in the Warsash and River Hamble areas. I am a member of Warsash Sailing Club, the RNLI and the RSPB. The Charity I support is The Cystic Fibrosis Trust. |
