I am originally from Cornwall, where I lived prior to joining the Royal Navy in 1992, in which I served for the subsequent eighteen years. By the time I left the Royal Navy my family and I had lived in Fareham for over 10 years and we felt very much at home here, so we decided this was where we wanted to live post-military service. I am now a Project Manager for an internationally recognised Defence company, working out of Portsdown Technology Park, managing engineering biased projects both large and small. My wife, Lisa, is a Senior Midwife at RSH Hospital, Winchester.
Lisa and I have two adult ‘children’, Alexander (26) and Maria (20). Both Alexander and Maria attended school in the Fareham area before moving on to their respective higher education organisations.
I have been elected to represent the interests and concerns of the residents of Fareham North West at Fareham Borough Council, which I feel very honoured to do so. I am an advocate for people’s rights and supporting local projects where people wish to contribute to their community’s wellbeing.
I also believe in the effective enforcement of law and order and the right for all to live in a safe and pleasant environment.
I currently serve on a number of Council Committees, including Licensing, Audit & Governance, Public Protection and Housing & Health. Additionally, I am a sitting member of the Fareham North West Community Association Management team and the Highlands HUB Management Committee.
My hobbies include keeping fit, watching sports (especially rugby), being with friends & family and generally enjoying life.
