County Councillor for Fareham Town
I am married to Christine and have one daughter and two grandchildren who all live locally. I work full time as a Solicitor in a local firm in Segensworth and Southampton. Over my legal career I have covered most areas of law but now only deal with residential property and a small amount of commercial transactions.
I was a member of Fareham Borough Council between 1982 and 1991 and was Leader of the Council from 1987 to 1991. In that year I retired to become Deputy Coroner for Portsmouth and South East Hampshire and remained in that position until 2003.
In 2013 was elected to serve as County Councillor for the Fareham Division. The Committees on which I serve at the County are: Regulatory, Economy Transport and Environment, Planning and River Hamble Board. The work is extensive but very interesting and I am always available for constituents if needed
